ThomsonFly flight question?

Hi me again,

I am thing of booking the Blau Varadero for next year with First Choice. It states that the flights are with ThomsonFly and as stated in another post I am debating whether it's worth the extra £300 to upgrade????

Has anyone flown on this route recently (Manchester to Varadero)with ThomsonFly? I know the seat configuration with First Choice is 2-3-2 in both premium and economy but what is the seat configuration in ThomsonFly economy, is it the same?

Thanks

Clare

It's the same aircraft just rebranded as ThomsonFly as from November 1st.

hi clarelw.we flew in june with FC to cayo's and to be honest the up-grade was not worth the money.we are going next yr to varadero with TC and are going standard class.saving the money for things in cuba.

TC use a 3-3-3 seat configuration in standard class, don't expect FC levels of comfort, those seats are quite narrow. When the seat pitch used to be just 29" the upgrade was worth every penny.

It's the First Choice aircraft just called ThomsonFly now so it's 2-3-2 in ecomony and Premium.

That's for confirming that.

I think I'm confusing myself somewhat but if it's 2-3-2 in economy and the same in Premium the how come the seats are wider in premium?

The Premium seats are air filled with winged head support. I know it says Wider Seats in the brochure, but it actually says Wider Seats for both Premium and Economy.

Thomsonfly use both ex FCA and Ex Thomson planes both 767

First Choice whole plane is 2-3-2

Thomson Premium 2-3-2 Economy 2-4-2

You need to find out which plane they are using for your flight.

I went Premium to Cuba this year and booked again for next year I liked it super seats good food free drinks etc I think its worth it but its up to you.

Correct but I would assume that they will continue to use the First Choice aircraft on routes that First Choice fly.

As I said I only assume this but as from today all flights are now ThomsonFly so we'll soon find out which aircraft they are using.

lol, nothing is ever straight forward!

If it was a first choice plane then I wouldn't bother with the upgrade but if it was the Thomson plane I would!

Do you think it's worth giving them a call, are they likely to know?

Thanks
