make sure you book a room on any floor but the first, that way no bugs, the sirenas side is closest to the buffet, i was there in oct and found the staff were great, a few pesos tip goes along way, and they love canadians. we left a little something on the pillows each day for the maids, and just tipped a peso here and there for food and drinks, loved the ppl. black panyhose will be greatly appreciated by the female staff, they have to wear them, and itt cost the moon for them. also makeup, sanitary products, over the counter meds. anything for babies, they can't get these things, or they are just too expensive for them. have fun.

If you are going now at peak season there is a buffet on both sides. There are more Canadians on the Coral side, more Europeans the other. We'll be there Jan 26, 5th time there.
