After the traffic circle coming from the airport heading to Willemstad you will see a large Centrum grocery store on your right at the intersection with Weg naar Bullenbaai. There's a stoplight at that intersection, and you can't miss the stores large neon sign. One of the best markets on the island. They are open until 8:00, but close early in Sunday...six i think...and have a wide variety of items, including fresh sliced packaged lunchmeat, good selection of fresh fruits and a great bakery. In the dairy section grab a chunk of the real Dutch gouda cheese...great snack! You can purchase beer, wine, and liquor there. They do accept credit cards and right outside there is an ATM (Bankomatico) where you can get cash in guilders or dollars. Pick up some guilders...you'll need to pay cash for gasoline everywhere.

Yes centrum as said above it will only be after the second circle take a right at the first traffic lights it will be on your left.

Pay attention to the traffic signs at the circles they both have different rules for yielding. A bit confusing for newcomers.

There is a shortage of beer on the shelves at the moment. Hopefully, it will arrive soon.

OMG, a crisis! Hope it gets sorted out before we arrive on the 24th. LOL! I can remember another trip last year where we couldn't find any Bright, Amstel, or Heiniken beer by the case. Had to buy Polar (yuk).

It's funny how sometimes there is an abundance of things on the supermarket shelves, then next trip, not to be found anywhere. Charmin TP and US crackers/snacks are also some of those items! All I can figure is these items are imported by the container load, and when they're gone, they're gone until the next container arrives on a ship. Just gotta roll with it, and be flexible.

That is exactly our problem in most supermarkets. The moment a new container comes in there is a wide selection but once they ran out of an item you have to wait for the next container. Albert heijn supermarket suffers a lot from this phenomena

At the second roundabout you can take a right and near the first traffic lights you will find Coisco on your right (they will have more beer choices) and Esperamos on your left (another supermarket).
