Beaches and Kura Hulanda

Considering staying at the Kura Hulanda Spa in town as it's close to restaurants and nightlife but during the day we really enjoy the beach and pool environment...

Are there nice beaches near by that are accessable?

Can anyone provide feedback on this hotel as it is under new management and "new" according to Tripadvisor so reviews are limited?

The old owners used to run a shuttle between the downtown hotel and the Lodge at Westpunt, where their beach is. I presume the new owners also would have this service, but best to check with the hotel. Another option would be to take a taxi to the beaches open to the public (for a fee). Mambo Beach area is to the East, and Blue Bay Beach to the West of downtown.

There have been several folks posting comment on Kura Hulanda on this forum, and all has been positive.

When we stayed there a few years ago they gave us passes to Blue Bay beach, wonder if they will still do this

Indeed better check directly with the hotel. The old owners indeed had shuttles running to Blue Bay beach (15 min) or to the lodge in westpunt (30/40 min).
