2-1/2 days in Dominica

In early May, we're spending 2-1/2 days in Dominica after a week in Martinique. We're especially interested in Morne Trois Pitons and Carib Territory. Is it possible to do both in this short time?

Carib Territory shouldn't take more than 2 hours for your visit. Be sure to buy some larouma reed baskets. I did and appreciate that they were hand woven on Dominica.

By Morne Trois Piton do you mean the park and not the actual peaks? If so you should be able to hit the tourist highlights in a day as long as you are reasonable fit. Better though to do it on island time and just throttle back and enjoy. If a cruise ship is in port, it probably is a good idea to get to the sites either early or late and avoid the crowd.

Last cruise ship is end of April, so you should be able to see and do those things without worrying about crowds. Enjoy the amazing scenery!
