Forced from resort to another after arrival!!!!

I have two daughters that booked an all inclusive resort in DR- TheOccidental Puna Cana. Upon arrival the management said they were overbook and forced them to the Memory Splash Puna Cana. They are texting me saying the Memory Splash is a dump! The reviews on tripadvisor are awful!! What can these college age girls do? What recourse is there? Has anyone had this type of experience? Contact whoever you booked with an demand action. Perhaps they could get them back in for rest of stay. If you used amex for the purchase, contact them. You may be able to get them checked in some where else, and not have to pay for occidental "walking" the girls.

It sucks when that happens, its not right.

Tell them to text the management and demand to be booked tomorrow. One night of horror is enough. Text them.
