Packing List - Please comment

Ok posters... below is my packing list for an upcoming 10 day trip to Punta Cana. I did not include clothes and standard toiletries. I am more focused on the "other" things that I need to bring to make for a fun/hassle free vacation. Please comment on what I am missing. Thanks in advance for the help.

Insulated mugs bigger the better

Lip balm with SPF

Lots of sunscreen with a variety of SPF level

Insect reppelant

Hand Sanitizer

Other stuff

Shoes for ocean

Reading materials lots

Face clothes (they dont provide face clothes) color other than white as they think they are theirs

spending money including small bills for tipping

Gifts for maids etc from Dollar store

Any snacks (heard they are expensive in the DR)

Small beach bag or backbpack to tote things to beach/pool

Walkie Talkies

Plastic bags for Walkie Talkies so they do not get ruined by sand

Just a few more.....

Ziploc bags for food from the buffet to take on any excursions you might take. They don't usually feed you till later in the day, and you might get hungry. A lot of people on our Catalina Island tour had food from their buffets. We left at 6:30 in morning and didn't eat till 1:30 in afternoon.

Small candles for room in case it is musty.

Small Spanish book for interpertation.

Pack bathing suit and shorts in carry on in case of loss of luggage.

If I think of more I will write back...have a great time.

If you go on any excursions take some toilet paper as we found the places they don't charge of the paper is pretty bad. I printed out a cheat sheet for currency conversion. Go to www.oanda.com for the conversion and you can print from there. Have fun!
