Paradise Beach Club

Anyone been to the Paradise Beach Club lately?

Do they have hairdryers in the rooms?

Did you snorkel there? Any info would be appreciated.

Sorry i cant help in any other way but i will just say that if you like snorkelling then jump in a guagua that you can get on the main road outside the resort and go down to the public beach at Sosua. The snorkelling here is amazing, the sea is calmer and clearer!

Hi Lab7,

Been to this resort and sorry to inform you, I honestly don't have the greatest things to say. The rooms are very smelly and moldy if you are in one of the regular rooms, if you complain maybe they might upgrade you, but they didn't for us.

Our friends stayed in a nicer room that had huge vaulted ceilings, it was much more to be desired.

The beach wasn't the greatest. They do offer a scuba class in the pool, and if you opt to go out on the catamaran tour, you can go into sousa bay which is really nice.

I don't recall our room having a blow dryer...maybe is some of the rooms.

The casino was terrible...just prepare yourself not to have the greatest expectations at this hotel...it is of course what you make it.

no hairdryers - nothing.

we stayed in the attic though so maybe thats why - and i'd never recommend staying there to anyone!

yes, u must go visit sosua public beach - it's GORGEOUS there (do not pay more than $1 to get there....the hotel taxis want $50 and try to convince u the guaguas aren't safe-they are!)

I've been to DR twice this year and had an amazing time and i'm sure u will too!

We actually stayed there last January. Our room left something to be desired, although very clean. No hairdryers though. My thought would be top pay for an upgrade to superior rooms because they were fabuluous. I disagree about the beach--I thought it was a great beach. The only resort at Playa Dorada that is directlt on the beach--not a hike...the dining room is right on the beach,. We really enjoyed Paradise and definietley return. Have a great trip

Bring your own snorkel mouth piece as thousands of others have used the same one that you will get.
