Puerto Plata to Santiago

Hola, looking for a taxi to take us to Santiago for a day trip to the cigar factory, monuments, museums. Would a weekday or weekend be best?

Thanks

We did that trip too & used Martin Espinal of Isaira Tours www.isairatours.com Beautiful scenery thru the mountains! Cigar factory & the Arts Centre beside it is wonderful & the ceramics factory was interesting too.

Our cost for that day was $100.00 + tip. And we paid for our drivers lunch.

note: just watch the locals when at the Monument. Someone will "latch" onto you, describe everything that you see & then expect a tip for "the tour". !!
