depends on what resort your at........if your staying in the playa dorada complex, i usually spend most of the day at the beach, then around 3 it gets windy and lots of sand starts blowing around so thats when we head to the pool to finish the day. if your staying in or near Sosua then we stay at the beach the whole day, have fun Brenda
I have a pool in my backyard...but I don't have a beach I definately go for the beach!

It's definately the beach for me. It does get a little windy on Playa Dorada in the afternoon, so we just stay in the ocean.

I have a pool in my backyard, but it is only useable 4 months (at best) per year. Nevertheless, I prefer the beach on vacation. Particularly when there is a swim up bar, find that a lot of people stay in the water drinking for a lloonngg time. Find that a little troubling and feel that this could be one of the reason people get sick while on vacation.

I really don't get the idea of flying a few thousand miles away to sit by a pool. We went to Cuba thinking we would spend tons of time at the pool and swim up bar. But all we did was the beach and the Ocean.
