Hi, has anyone stayed at this two star hotel? we plan on being in LaRomana for a few days in late March and this property is on the water and has a pool...thanks
We stayed at the hotel few years ago before it was completely finished. It was nice and clean (didn't include breakfast then), for few nights might be OK, all depends on what you want to do. If you just need a place to sleep and shower it's fine. The hotel is in residential area, away from the city, shopping or tourist attractions. Driving to La Romana - about 10 minutes, to Bayahibe where all the excursions are happening - 20 minutes.
The hotel itself is not on the beach, you have to drive about 5 minutes, the sea in the area might be a bit wavy sometimes. If you want to get the real local feel, this is the nice beach to go to, taste the fresh cough fish, but on the weekends is usually very busy and loud :)
Happy travel
Denise
