Grand Palladium Questions!!

Hello all,

I had some questions regarding the Grand Palladium Punta Cana resort.

Is the Palladium Punta Cana Main Buffet air conditioned?

Where is the disco, casino and theatre located (punta cana, bavaro or palace section)?

Is there free room service?

Is there a shop to buy calling cards (if so, where is it) and do you have to pay a fee to use the phones in the room?

Do you have any suggestions as to where I should request rooms (2000 block, 3000 block etc.)?

Are there any a la cartes located at the Palladium Punta Cana section (which ones)?

How far of a walk would you say it is from the beach to the lobby (punta cana section)...we are travelling with someone who has a knee injury!!

**if you have any e mail addresses to make room requests, I would love it!!!***

THANKS SOO SOO MUCH....any answers to the above questions are definitely appreciated...I am doing my research and trying to find a great place in Punta Cana to go to this year!!!

THANKS AGAIN, HAPPY TRAVELS

Hello Julia,

I will try to answer your questions to the best of my ability.

First, there are two buffets one serves breakfast and dinner, the other has lunch and both are air-conditioned. There are no a la cartes at this section. Most are at the Bavaro section, you may take the resort train to get there.

Beach to lobby, approx. 5 min walk if that, depending how fast you walk.

The disco is located at the Bavaro section outside the lobby.

The casino is just a short walk from the reception lobby at the Punta Cana section.

There are two outdoor theaters, one close to the sports center at the Punta Cana section and the other is located outside the Bavaro lobby.

No free room service at this time, but in the future this will be offered to all guests.

The 3000 block would be a good location for your needs. You are very close to everything, pool, beach and buffets, just a short walk.

Razel, thank you very much for all the information you provided!!!

Quick question....would you say the entertainment theatre at the bavaro section is better than the one in the Punta Cana section of the Palladium or are they the same shows? I also read that the show starts around 9 20pm for bingo, then they give out prizes, then the show, then dancing, is that true?

Thanks again, I appreciate it tremendously!

sorry last question lol, hope you dont mind!! where would we wait for the trolley (front lobby of the punta cana section I am assuming) and how often would you say it comes around? If I wanted to walk to the Bavaro section for an a la carte dinner, how long would that take me from the punta cana lobby approximately?

That ended up being three questions....sorry about that! Again, thanks a bunch

Hi, Tried the e-mail address above but it was returned as undeliverable. Do you know of any other e-mail address for the Grand Palladium Palace? Thanks in advance.

Hi Julia – just incase the other poster does not see your questions I try to answer them as we have just return 2 weeks ago from the Palladium Bavaro

The evening entertainment is the same in both places – but never the same show, on the same night. We attended the shows at the Bavero section and never saw them playing bingo, not once. In the Bavero section there is no dancing in the theatre after the show, you would have had to go to the disco for that.

There are signs up everywhere that the trolley stops – but yes it does stop at all lobbies. It does the tour of the resort about every 20 minutes – sometimes a bit less. Max time to walk to the a la carts in the Bavero section from the punta cana lobby 10 minutes. The easiest way from your lobby is under the covered walk ways – it takes you right there.

Hi rjrsaw,

Keep trying that email address as I’ve heard from other people that for some reason it sometimes comes back a few times then actually works.

Do they have a beach BBQ at night?

or make paella on the beach? They did this in Mexico, didn't know if they do it in Punta Cana

Yes, on a Thursday evening they have a bb-q on the beach. Very similar to the Palladium in Riviera Maya. I've been to both locations.
