Do only charters fly nonstop from Boston to Punta Cana?

We wondered whether it might be cheaper to book separately next time, but can't seem to find anyone other than charters that fly nonstop, and that is a big advantage, to us.

Hola: We have flown from Boston for all of our 9 trips to the DR, and they have all been one-stop. It has never been a problem for us. We fly American, and the best flight we use is BOS - San Juan and then on to Punta Cana, La Romana, Puerto Plata, or Samana.

We have always used Vacation Travel Mart and for all of our trips, they have been the cheapest, and we always check prices. Beth Miller is our contact. beth@vacmart.com Give her a shout and get a price quote.

We fly this November and are staying at Punta Cana Princess.

The 1st time we went to Punta Cana I booked it through a charter because they offered non-stop flights. A few weeks before we left they notified us that the flight had been changed to one with one stop each way. Now I just book it myself as I can get an early flight there and a mid-afternoon flight home!

According to an article in Budget Traveller from earlier this year (seen at the link below), US Airways should fly there non-stop from Boston.

budgettravel.com/bt-dyn/…AR2007110401281.html

If you scroll down a bit, and look over to the right of the page, you can select a city (US/Canada) and find out which airlines fly to where in the Caribbean non-stop!

Hope this is helpful!

We are flying non stop to Punta Cana May 3 out of Boston on US Airways.. I understand from my travel agent that it goes out every Sat. We have found that booking with a travel agent instead of TNT or the other Charters.. works out cheaper.. (we could not come home non stop however.)

I am in York.. I can give you my travel agent.

Just got back Saturday. We usually fly U.S.Air out of Boston or Manchester. We have found that 10 day stays leaving on a Tuesday and coming back on a Thursday is less busy and sometimes cheaper than a 7 day chartered stay.
