Weather Men in Punta Cana?

Ive been checking Weather.com for several weeks and it continuosly says that it has been raining and having T-Storms everyday. We are leaving tomorrow for Punta Cana and was wondering if this is what it normaly shows on Weather.com? As I have read posts that said that it was great weather.

I have also read that say that it will rain for 20 minutes and then the sun will come out. Anyone know what the Punta Cana weathermen are saying for the outlook this week?
