Resorts that do not require dinner reservations

Besides the Dreams resorts, does anybody know of other resorts that do not require advance reservations? We never know what we want to eat until we are on the way to the restaurants.

Thanks!

Grand Palladium.

We just booked for the fall, and this is one thing we really like as well.

Only one of the six at the Majestic Colonial requires them (the French).

When we stayed at the Palladium we had to make dinner reservations for the a la carte restaurants - has this changed?

Personally I have been to both resorts that require and don't require reservations and there are pluses and minuses to both. It's not a deciding factor when we look at resorts. It can be nice to not have to make reservations but look at how many negs you find in reviews about having to wait to get into a restaurant. Meals also seem to be more rushed at the non-reservation resorts since they want to get you in and out as fast as possible since they have others waiting. Have even seen tables where people are done their meal but are still sitting at the table waiting for more wine or drinks and the staff does not go near them.

Palladium no longer requires reservations, however, if you are in the Royal Suites Turquesa section, you may reserve a time and be seated immediately. I have found if you arrive around 6 or 6:30 to most of the restaurants, you usually go right in. The only exception would be the Sumptori, if you want a show table, get there right when they open to reserve a spot.
