wow, having trouble w/my post.....this is meant for an FYI to anyone flying from CLE to PUJ in January on USA3K Monday's flights. They are only reimbursing for the cancelled leg, not the full round trip. the option is to a) get a one way ticket home from another airline (ha ha the prices are outrageous) or b) come home early or stay 2 weeks by returning on the Friday USA3K flights (subject to availablity). Luckily we were able to book a return which cut my trip from 10 to 7 days. Also, I had to pay a penalty to change my land portion since I booked air/land separate. ces't la vie

USA 3000 has lost the contract with quite a few vacation handlers. We here in Baltimore are still waiting for them to get it straight. Air Tran has picked up the slack for now but that could change as well.

Good luck...

I am sorry to hear of this situation. We have done extensive traveling with Apple vacation packages who utilized this airline in the past. Their service was great and we always enjoyed our flights. Very disturbing situation you have, try not to let it spoil your vacation.
