Questions for April 2011 Trip

Hello all,

Couple of questions as we've never been to PC. We are staying at the Catalonia, not sure which side yet. I think the group we are going with (my cousin is getting married in PC in April) is booking at the Catalonia Beach, Golf and Casino. Is it worth upgrading at booking to the Royal, or is it cheaper to upgrade once we get there?

Also, any great sites for booking tours, sunset cruises, etc. One of our favourite tours in Mexico was an ATV tour, do they do those in PC?

What are things not to miss.

What restaurants are the best? Is there a place that has all you can eat seafood? I read the reviews on Jellyfish and it sounds great, how much for a lobster dinner? Anyone know where the menu might be found??

Sorry for all the questions, just getting excited, trying to plan, etc.

Check the things to do at left of this page....also puntacanamike.webs.com for great tours (although I am not sure if he does large groups), Dominican is not like Mexico, normally if you go off resort it is by excursions only....there is no main area to go walking or shopping with a strip of restaurants, you would have to taxi to the Jellyfish, and from the Catolina could be expensive. Hopefully by "bumping" this up you will get some more replies...Happy Travels
