5 minutes if that, via the beach. I haven't went any other way, so can't help you.

There is a trolley you can take, you are there in no time. Starrygirl is right, 5 minutes via the beach.

They are almost beside each other. There is a pie shaped private area between them. You can also head out the PCP lobby, cut through the spa building provided it is open and the opposite door leads to the Tropical side of the Caribe Tropical. Head toward the beach on the right side of the pool, lollow the path and you will be in the hub of the resort where the other pools are, the activities, the beach grills and the restaurants. If you are walking instead of taking the tram, just keep left on the driveway and follow the trail past the security hut, just after the spa building. You can also follow the main path, past the activity area and to the left is the main hub of the resort, or keep right through the other main trail, that goes through the mangrove and you will get to the lobby, theatre and the shops.

I suggest to ride the tram to get your bearings the first time, grab a drink first and relax. You can catch the tram only outside the lobby building of the PCP as the tram does not run through the little property. The evening tram also goes to the Tower Casino at the gates of the Bavaro Princess. Be careful, because the casino tram is the one with the red and white canvas roof.
