I've been in contact with Dreams Punta Cana trying to find out prices for WiFi internet access for a family of four for a trip we were planning in November of this year.
No free WiFi in the lobby or common areas. But for "just" $60 a week you can sign up to access the internet with their provider at the resort. That's $60 EACH for a week - so for our 2 week vacation to access the internet and occasional email, that would put us out an extra $480.
Am I crazy or is there something terribly wrong with this picture? Or am I totally off base here ? Quite a few of the other resorts in Punta Cana offer at least free WiFi in common areas.
I would love to hear some of your comments on this. Yes, realistically hubby and I don't need to access but we do like to post pictures on social networks and I like to write my travel blog. This would mostly be for the teens who just can't live without keeping in touch - but there is a limit - right?
