1.5L Bubba Cup for Hard Rock... Is this excessive.?

Hi folks, quick one for you. As last year was my first experience of Caribean All Inc I was still learning quite a few things. One of these was the legend that is Bubba Cup! After living with the VERY small plastic cups of beer at pools last year in Mexico, I am planning ahead and searching for my Bubba Cup! I have found an awesome deal in UK Supermarket for very great price, genuine Bubba Cup (with bottle opener on handle which I LOVE!) and it is a 1.5L version. They do not have any of the smaller ones, and the next option is from a specialist camping store, smaller size and over 3 times the price! Just wondered if I would be frowned upon at the volume of the 1.5L, or if this may be fairly common? Any advice much appreciated.

hhmmm a pint size one is big enough. they just fill them with ice anyways . you are never far from a bar so it means they dont get warm and there is less room for ice. mine is a pint size and i find it just right.

1.5 ltrs is not far off 3 pints in the UK.

Are you sure even with the insulated mug that would not get a tad warm before you finished it?

I thnk as well as portion control some resorts serve in smaller glasses because they know the heat plays a factor..

they won't give you a bottle of wine at any bar...but they will fill your bubba with as many as it takes to fill it...

The Hard Rock has great poolside and beach Service so no need to worry about a huge mug. Also, they use the 12-14 oz hard plastic cups, not the 7 oz disposables you see at some resorts.

That being said, it's nice to have an insulated mug as even the plastic get warm fast. I usually take a 24oz mug and that's plenty. 1.5L might look at little out of place.

To answer your question, no, it's not common to see people carrying kegs on a resort.

YOur beer or drink would be watered down by the time you even got halfway through it IMO.

It would be heavy IMO

And I wouldn't want to be behind you in line.
