High School Senior Trip to Punta Cana...Where to go??

We are planning a hgh school senior trip the end of May 2013 and have several people in our group who all have different opinions of where we should go. We have some who are on a tighter budget than others, yet we want to accommodate everyone. Important things are night life for the seniors (while also being safe), clean rooms and of course excellent food. We are looking at Iberostar properties, Ocean Blue and Majestic Colonial. Any help and guidance would be appreciated as reviews are all over the place. Thank you for any and all advice in making this trip memorable for our senior group and families!

Here's a link to a reliable site that has a list of resorts in several destinations that welcome high school student graduation trips. Not all resorts are amenable to this type booking.

To view the resorts, simply sub-select the destination of choice.

Will your trip be including parents or is it just students?

Parents and some other younger kids. Youngest is probably 7th grade I believe.

prob not Majestic of that list. The bathrooms don't offer very much privacy, they are built more for couples. The resort isn't really large enough to go exploring and offer enough variety.

Palladium is quite large but very well set up. It suits most budgets. it is not cheap in quality but the price often is not sky high. It is in a great location for off resort fun, near Plaza Bavaro, and a couple night spots.

Iberostar is always a hit with anyone wanting to have fun. Never a let down.

Bahia would be good. Tons of variety and space to move around without stepping on anyone's toes.

Surprised Bobk did not suggest the north coast, perhaps he missed that it would be a family trip. My suggestion would be the Grand Palladium.

Thank you all for the responses. We will look more into the Grand Palladium and are still looking at Ocean Blue.

Kari B:

I agree with the Palladium, Bahia and Iberostars. You might also want to check out the Dreams - we were at Dreams Palm Beach and saw a large group of senior kids with their families - they seemed to be having a lot of fun.

BobK:

Why are you suggesting Mexico? This doesn't sound like kids without chaperones looking for wild/spring-break resorts.
