Catalonia Royal Bavaro food?

I am just wondering what the quality of the food is like at this resort? Went to Jamaica last yr and the food at our resort was great!

I think the food is very good to great but that's so subjective. I think generally speaking food is better in Mexico or Jamaica because of the spices they use. The food in DR is a bit more plain, less spicy.

I think because of the International mix of the guests a lot of AI Resorts keep the food relatively plain but not boring in general. If they spiced it up too much then they would probably get even more complaints from people who don't like it like that.

I do like spicy food but have no problems with the DR food and always find stuff I like.

Ok thanks! I was also wondering about going of the resort for a supper or 2. Is this resort near town?

tbh. the DR is not known for it's Restaurants or Nightlife and there really aren't that many Restaurants in PC. Even the ones there are are not particularly exciting and the Restaurants in the premium hotels is usually very good despite some of the comments you might read.

Most of the food is imported and I am amazed they can do it for the price we pay.

I have had some amazing food at some of the Hotels, try the Dominican Stew which is very nice.
