Spring Breakers

Are there any resorts that do not allow spring breakers? We are thinking of traveling in March or April 2013 and do not want to be stuck with loud drunk spreak breakers.

Some of the resorts do not allow spring break groups to book but that doesn't men spring breakers can not book on their own. Have even read posts on here where it is the parents who book the trips for thier spring breakers. So if you go at that time you may end up with some no matter what. But there are some that actually cater to Spring Break Groups. If you do a search you should find which ones - I can't remember them all.

I agree with sackie, there is no guarantee you will not run into a group of spring breakers. This topic is very popular on this forum, do a search.

I would book a top-end, adult only resort....still, no guarantee but it would be boring for a spring breaker. A non-all-inclusive would be even better.

Most students on spring break won't usually go to the adult-only resorts as they're typically too expensive and/or too quiet. I know that the Riu's won't allow guests under 21 - most likely there are others.

I would go along with tingys advice, with the exception of the hard rock which is listed as one of student city resorts this year the more you pay the less likely you'll be to encounter the big groups

The more $$$$$$$ the hotel costs the less the number of these "leaders 0f the future" you will see. Scary sometimes.

Yeah I generally agree. Adults only and more

Caribe and tropical princess, and Occidental are ones to be worried about.

Another good option would be to book a hotel with a lot of room to spread out at. That way if spring breakers happen to be there, just choose to hangout elsewhere. I.e. a non pool bar pool, side of the beach where there is no beach bar, quiet corner etc.

I remember reading about Grand Paradise Bavaro also being rowdy.

Bavaro Princess states that they do NOT accept Spring Breakers.

Reasonably priced, nice place for families or anyone.

One of the largest Spring Break booking agencies for Punta Cana is Student City. They have listed the following resorts for College and High School students on their website for 2013:

Barcelo Punta Cana

Grand Paradise Bavaro

Moon Palace/Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Barcelo Dominican Beach

VIK Hotel Arena Blanca

IFA Villas Bavaro

Iberostar Punta Cana
