GBPBavaro - question re: a la carte requests

HI There:

I was just wondering when you send in your request for A La Carte restaurants 10 days prior - do you just give them the names or do you pick the actual dates you want them as well?

Thanks,

Hi NeedaBreak,

Give them all your booking information, names, etc so they can find your file.

Then include the restaurant you want to go to, the date and time. They are open 6:30pm to 10:30pm

Be sure to print there confirmation email and bring it with you. Just in case something is not right you can show them that everything was confirmed and they will do there best to accommodate you.

Safe Travels!

The more "generic" you are in your requests for day and time, the more likely you are to secure pre-arrival reservations at the a la carte venues of your choice!

You need to be sure to include your tour operator's name and their confirmation number along with the exact arrival date in your email so they can locate your folio and mark it accordingly. Send it no sooner than 10 days prior to arrival as they won't even receive your folio documents until then.

In answer to your post in #3, the most popular a la carte dining reservation times requested are between 7pm and 9pm.

Well it really depends on how you plan your day and when do you generally eat at home?

If your early eaters then maybe an early time.

If you plan to be maximize the sun at the pool or beach all day till 6. Then figure the 3 of you need to go back to the room to shower, get dressed, etc so 7:30 or 8.

If there is a buffet theme night you really wanted but also needed to use an ala carte then maybe have a light meal early at the buffet and a late night ala carte.

Basically whenever you want to go:) your on vacation lol.

We have missed 1 or 2 ala cartes as things come up during the day and we were having more fun at another end of the resort so decided to skip the ala carte and grab a quick bite at the buffet.

8. Re: GBPBavaro - question re: a la carte requests

Ok so here is a new question in regards to a la carte:

Current buffet schedule for when we are there (tues to tues)

Tuesday - Italian

Wed - Oriental

Thu - Gala Seafood

Fri - Dominica

Sat - Mexican

Sun - American

Monday - Espanolo

I am choosing for a La Carte (Diamond level 1 extra):

The Maiko Japanese

Le Gourmet

The Garden Grill

Il Capriccio

Which nights of the buffet would you skip for which a la carte?

I am thinking to put the Japanese on the night of oriental and Il Capriccio on the italian buffet night?

Other suggestions for other 2 or all 4? Thanks

Considering each day they have some American food. Switch that Sunday for a nice Ala Carte. Nice to have a good meal before your last day.
