There about 100 resorts, so if you can narrow it down, people can help you better. Adult only, or not. Budget is key. How much are you looking to spend? Costs can vary quite a bit. Do you want a big place, with lots of action, or a smaller, more tranquil place? Do you want easy access to external amenities, excursions, etc? The more info the better.

Usually great weather, great people, very friendly and safe, I see on your original post you had looked at the Iberostar chain, very good resorts to start with. As Mark says very much depends on budget and what kind of thing your looking for.

We have always travelled in April. The weather has been beautiful. The beach is just gorgeous. You will love the area, just decide on your budget so those on TA can help narrow your choices. May usually has good rates: it's past Spring Break time, but schools are not yet closed for summer.
