Welcome to the forums Dave,

With close to 100 resorts there is a type for everyone. In order for the helpful TA members to give recommendations they would require to know about what your looking for.

When you want to travel?

What is your budget?

How old are the kiddies?

Do you want a big resort, medium, small,

Ala cartes each night? Top shelf liquor?

What types of things the kids like to do?

Modern luxury resort, tropical resort, a mixture of both?

And anything else you can think of to make it an excellent trip that you deserve.

Safe Travels!

3 kids: ages 10,16,and 18. They enjoy beach volleyball, soccer etc. Not little kids stuff. Looking for good food, top shelf booze not a req but would be nice if available. A few nice excursions of fishing, snorkeling,or diving would be good. Looking for a nice resort with great beach/pools/and places to eat. size not a huge issue. If the resort offers the perk of an upgraded package to choose for nicer room choice/location or attendant to provide additional service that would be preferred. Either time of summer or during the Christmas vacation time frame is when we would go.

loom on the Barcelo Palace deLuxe, large but built along the Beachfront, so nothing seems far, countless number of activities for your young gang, golf course if the parents like that, as for fishing just a 20 minutes transfer away from the Cap Cana Marina where a top fleet of charter fishing boats are available, and located on the non crowded wide best calm beach of the area.

a top dog for all day and evening long activities for all ages of the young guns is the Club Med, located right aside the airport on many miles of a private calm perfect beach.

an other property with a large variety of activities for all ages is the Palladium Resort.

at the Melia Caribe Tropical Resort the Flintstones Club receives great feedback since years, but i guess it is more for the younger kittens and not suitable for your almost adults children of 16 and 18 years of age.

have fun

I am going with family in mid feb. looking for all inclusive modern on bach resprt. Want lots of activities for kids but simple, kids club, games at pool, water slides, etc. we are 5 people with daughters age 10, 8 and 5.

Like quality food, clean recently renovated room, and dont like to be haggled on beaches or by staff for time shares. Any suggestions?
