Prescription meds and airport

Will I have a problem taking prescription medicine to And from Punta Cana from USA? What about Pepto and Imodium, Tylenol?

Thanks mike!

Does anyone know about things like Pepto and Imodium - I want to just bring the pills but I read they need to be with their packaging? Does anyone know., I plan to put these pills in my luggage and the prescription ones in y carry on -- is that a good idea?

that's how I do it.... I take them out of their containers and put them in weenie little baggies from the craft store, then zip them all up in a bigger baggie, these are the just in case meds.

I take all my meds in a pill box, but have a copy of the original prescription in my passport folio.

Never have had a problem.

Too many meds to take the original containers......

And also remember, prescription meds go in your carry-on bag, not checked luggage.

Happy travels.
