Riu Palace Macao

Hi all,

The BF and I are going to this resort in 4 weeks (eeekkk really excited). We don't fret over much - I think we live in a 'have fun' bubble LOL, however, I am quite fussy with wine. The last couple of times I've been to DR, we have had a great time but I couldn't drink the wine,(luckily I'd brought some with me). I wondered if there was anywhere close by that we could buy some to keep in our room so I don't have to bring it with me. My mum is coming for a week of our trip (she's in Canada, we're UK) and she too likes her wine - (must be genetic). Any suggestions would be welcome as we quite like sitting on the balcony with a glass before dinner.

possibly cause most folks wont drink wine while there apart from a glass at dinner if that . with so much choice of free drinks and drinking ad-lib, they wont choose wine for there room. best bet would be to buy in duty free on your way out there.

Thanks for responding. I'll get a couple of bottles from duty free. We brought a box through on previous visits and no one objected, but I've noticed comments lately about exceeding your allowance which is why I thought it might be better to get it over there. I'll pass the cava comment onto my mum, she is a white wine drinker so she'll be pleased for the tip. Thanks again both. x
