We have booked a trip to Dreams Punta Cana. Please advise of excursions for a family of 4 with kids 12 and 16.
I checked out the various excursions listed on TripAdvisor (try this link):
This may give you some ideas to help you start your research - good luck!
As poster JMB21980 has mentioned, if you go to the green band near the top of this page where it states "Things to Do" - click on that and when the next page opens, click on the "Avtivities" tab near the top of the page.
Here you will see many great tours available - from zip lining, to truly seeing the life style and meeting the people of the Dominican Republic through "Mikes Dominican Adventures" (an excellent family tour which is a must in my opinion and one which cannot be booked through the resort - only in advance through this site -http://puntacanamike.webs.com/ ), "Extreme Buggy" tours (http://www.xtreme-buggy.com), Catamaran/Snorkeling/Sailing tours at "Marinarium Excursions" (http://www.marinarium.com/), the "Macao Surf Camp" for surfing (email@example.com ), and one that your wife may enjoy - Dr. Fish Ocean Spa for a unique spa experience (http://www.oceanadventures-puntacana.com/)
Many offer half and full day tours and all will arrange for you to be picked up at your resort and returned.
Hope this does assist you.
Brooklin (Bubba King)
As Brooklin stated PCMikes tours are not to be missed. If you are into fishing then Mike Fisher is a great tour.
We were on PCMikes tour last week, It was superb, we been to the DR several times and done several tours, Mike's was the best of the best
Thank you this is helpful, most times it is better to get recommendations from a post rather than a list.
I'm really excited about going on the Horseplay Punta Cana excursion - It just sounds like it's going to be a blast...you may want to check it out (I don't have any children - but based on reviews, it seems like both kids and adults really enjoy it - a good family excursion option)...
