Majestic Elegance vs. Majestic Colonial shared amenities

I was wondering if you stay at the Majestic Elegance Club rooms if you can also use the amenities at the Majestic Colonial. I know a few years back they did not allow it but I wonder if things have changed since then.

No exchange of amenities. Disco, casino, late night snack bar, I think the theatre and kids club as well are the only shared facilities.

They have never allowed shared restaurants/bars between the resorts unless there was a problem, like when there was the fire at the Colonial or they were doing renovations at Elegance. There are some very limited exceptions such as weddings or groups that have made arrangements in advance......and occasionally repeat guests who have been to both resorts.

Each resort has its own theater. They both share, in addition to those listed by OBX, the Sports Bar and the tennis court facilities.
