Snorkeling,Riu Palace Macau

Good morning.

We're off to the Riu Palace Macau in a few weeks time & would like to know if the sea, adjacent to the hotel, is suitable for snorkeling for beginners?

My wife can't swim, but if the area is calm enough she likes to wear her life support vest and see what's under the surface.

The vest is quite bulky so we would prefer not to take it if she won't get to wear it.

Many thanks

you can always get a life jacket at the watersports center of the hotel, i would not bother to bring a bulky one in the suitcase.
