Ditto Dreamliner question. Hopefully you can give an account of life in the cheap seats,

Evening all,

I'm sure Mikes is 10am until around 10 pm although I can't put my hand on the slip with the times on.

Dreamliner was more of a nightmare for us :-(

They switched aircraft for our outward journey so we didn't get the extra legroom seats we had paid for.

On the return we were in nightmare seats which were row 30 G & 30 F , again we paid for extra legroom but the WC is right near these seats and the Q was constant throughout the flight so the people waiting were in our extra leg room area :-(

The new aircraft made no difference to us at all other than being new we didn't really notice a difference at all and seriously think its been very over hyped.

Must admit was tempted by the Dreamliner but at an Extra £800 in school holiday time we have gone with Thomas Cook. Thomson flights are usually pretty good, but just could not justify that much extra cost.

Not really glad you had bad flights, but am glad we haven't missed out too much:)

Not worth any extra at all but I have to admit I emailed Thomson on Sunday and a lovely chap rang me this morning to say they have issued a full refund for the extra legroom. Fantastic speedy service but still a very bad experience if that makes sense x

Kat

I agree, the Dreamliner has been over hyped by Thomson.

we travelled to Mexico last September, one reason was the Dreamliner.

yes you get a newer, quieter aircraft, but, because of the hype, you actually feel. 'is this it?'

if it was not so hyped up, you would maybe think 'wow this is better.'

just my honest, humble opinion.

What is the dress code in the ala cart restaurants? Are shorts and a golf Shirt with sandals ok, or do you have to wear long pants and closed shoes?

The only restaurant you are required to wear trousers & no flip flops is the Blue moon restaurant.

All of the others are fine with dress shorts etc :-)
