Just wondering how many bottles of sunscreen to take?....LOL!

Hope that isn't inappropriate to ask...

I usually take two of each (SPF 30 then SPF 15) and only used a full bottle once when we were sharing with a couple we met who ididn't have any. We apply all day long but we don't slather.

I would take what you feel you may need and 1 extra just in case.

Thanks for the recommendation but I was just being facetious because my other post regarding bathing suits was shut down...

thought I would just go back to posting the same old same old so as not to offend anyone-LOL

I guess a bathing suit discussion is inappropriate but others asking about topless swimming isn't go figure...

General rule of thumb, you need about an ounce per application (average size person) to cover sufficiently. Most people don't use enough according to what dermatologists recommend.

Anyway, figure an ounce each time you apply. So, if you put it on 3x/day and you are 2 people, figure 6 oz. per day, multiplied by the number of days you'll be there. And then bring some extra, because it's pricey to buy down there.

I work at Costco and we sell the 3 pack of aerosol coppertone. I take all of these as they don't last long but they are good for the first morning slick up at the room before you get your suit on. then I take a bottle of 50 and a bottle of 30 usually more than enough

Thanks guys really...I appreciate your replies just a little surprised with the deletion of my post as I really didn't see what was so inappropriate but maybe the mental image was just too much for the moderators-LOL

Thanks me too!

Oh well I guess talking about bathing suits is too racy apparently!

Although like I said people talking about topless sunbathing is A OK

I think when I mentioned that the elastic on my bottoms was failing and may not stay up if hit by a large wave was just too much of a visual for the moderator

All I can say is I will try and keep it more PG-LOL

Hence the sunscreen posting...
