Are you going to an all inclusive resort? Check out this link: welcome-dominican-republic.com/dominican-rep…

Their customs website says "one liter".

However, I do have to admit that I brought two "boxes" of wine last month, (just in case the resort wine was awful) Glad it was a non-issue for me, as I did not check their website first.

Bring your own Patron, pack carefully in your checked luggage.

They will not likely check your luggage.

Legally you can bring in 1 liter per person.

You can purchase liquor in the duty free shop at the airport if your needs exceed what is allowed or if you are not checking any luggage.

Duty free at the airport is a JOKE, purchase across the road at the Nationale supermercado, much cheaper there.

There is no duty in the DR.....how can it be DUTY FREE....( lol )....

Call it duty free or not, when cigarettes are 1/3 of the price that they are in the USA, I will call it "duty free".

You are allowed, per the DR Customs website one litre per person. Once you are on the ground, buy as much as you want.
