Hard Rock Hotel

Going for the first time. Do they allow smoking on balconies and in the casino? Booked a one Bedroom Presidential Suite if anyone knows anything about the room. Thanks

They do allow smoking on the balcony and I think in the Casino.

Yes in the casino also

We stayed in a full Presidential, very nice with lots of room. The one bedroom Presidential will have a separate bedroom, king bed, balcony, jacuzzi tub and private bathroom, small frig and bar set up.

The second room is the living area with much larger balcony, powder room, small kitchen with frig and bar set up, big screen tv, dinning room table, chairs and sofa that might make into a bed but don't know for sure.

Down side to Hard Rock Punta Cana Presidentials is they are not all ocean front or view so not sure if your are booked in ocean view or not.

Huge resort with tons of walking so bring comfy flats and leave the heels at home!

Have fun!

We booked the Signature Presidential One bedroom. I don't care that much about the ocean front I requested it but it is not a deal breaker I was told it is better to be in building 4 or 5. Hope I made the right move. Just 2 of us wanted the bigger space. We are use to cruising in large suites but we cancelled all our upcoming cruises so we are hoping to find a new spot to get away.

I'm an NCL groupie myself also used to sailing in suites. The regular rooms at the Hard Rock are HUGE. About the same size as an owner's suite on NCL.

NCL fan also but not suites because we try to do Mexico in the winter a still do a cruise sometime in the year so just book a balcony cabin!

Yes you want buildings 4 or 5 to be central in the resort, buildings 7 and 8 are more for family's and kiddie pool is over there.

Buildings 1 and 2 seemed really out of the way but quiet.

Tons of walking so bring flat sandals, no heals! Have been twice and they were enforcing the long pants and closed toed shoes for men, you will read reviews where they weren't but we always bring long pants and follow the dress code.

Lobby is like Vegas! Fun, loud and crazy and it is also cool so bring light sweater for dinners and drinks

Amazing beach, just loved it but water is very strong so be careful

Room service is great, get fruit plate and coffee and sit on your balcony to start your day!

The wood fired pizzas are fantastic!

They are going to pressure you to do the "tour" or Timeshare presentation all you have to do is say no thanks and they will leave you alone.

We are members and enjoy our membership but we joined 15 or more years ago when it was cheap and easy and it has worked out great for us. So if you love it and want to go again look me up first and I can help you out!

Cruising is fun and we have gone to great places but the value we have at a Palace or Hard Rock for exceeds that of a cruise, my brother in law and his wife wanted us to do a cruise with them this upcoming winter but when I told them the price of the cruise compared to the cost for Mexico they agreed to do Mexico! So were off to Hard Rock Vallartta in January and won't have a bar bill when we check out!

Starting to second guess myself on the Presidential suite such a big $$$ difference do you have an opinion on the Jr Islander Suite or Caribbean sand suite ? There is over a $2000 difference..which could be another vacation. Would love your opinion

The regular room is so big that I don't see any reason to pay more.
