Can you purchase anywhere at the airport on the way home?

Yes it is cheaper off-resort, but if you're waiting until the airport, it is available at the Dominican Duty Free, which you'll see when you get through/around the other big duty free, before you would walk up towards the food court and washrooms. Buy the one with liquid already in it and you can start your batches at home with that... :D

When we stayed at Riu Palace Bavaro, we bought the herbs. We had heard you couldn't take the dry herbs through customs so the bartender in the lobby mixed the liquid portions for us. We packed it well with the clothes in our luggage and checked it. It made it home with us just fine. Just an idea if you'd rather not buy it at the airport...

Thanks a bunch. I'll grab some at the duty free.

Like Lacey said, make sure you buy it with liquid, the dry can be confiscated bc you cannot take bark/wood out of the country. Or get it before you leave and have your bartender mix you a batch to go.
