Swim out room and or Lazy River resorts

once again the wife and I are considering our vaca spot for the coming cold months, we have been considering Secrets Royal Beach, the reviews seem to be MUCH better than 24 months ago. We have looked at their rooms and for the life of me I can't tell which are the "swim out" rooms to price our vaca. Anyone have a clue? Also are there any other resorts with the swim out room option that you might suggest. We don't mind whatever the cost but we don't want pruddish.

Hi Ken

We have stayed at SRB in a swim up suite

If you check the resort map you will see where they are all located - see link below

Loads of other properties in PC have them and if you are looking for an AO Resort check out the likes of Excellence & Breathless

The royal suites turquesa by palladium have lovely swim up suites, you access the pool right from your terrace. Most of the buildings have the steps into the pool right off your terrace ( shared with the room next door in most cases) 2 buildings would require ( on occasion to pass by another room to access the steps) all rooms have the terrace with 2 chairs and a table and a ledge that is a few inches deep in the pool that has 2 loungers on it.

Zoetry Agua offers swim-up rooms - 20 + (small 96 room resort) in both the original section and the newly added section. The pools are not lazy rivers, but beautiful serpentine shaped that meander the length of the buildings. There are two loungers for each room, beach towels put out on them every morning. There is easy access, steps away from the room, into the pool. The one serpentine pool does not directly connect to the swim-up bar, but a quick hop out and back in, and you're there...

Good luck in your search and decision :D
