Grand Paradise Samana Hotel or Gran Bahia Principe Cayacoa??

Hi,

If anyone has been to either of these hotels can they recommend which is best.

I think looking at reviews and pictures that Grand Paradise has a better beach but Gran Bahia Principee Cayacoa is a better hotel.

Any advice/recommendations would be appreciated.

We are after a beach holiday so at the minute we are leaning towards Grand Paradise.

Grand Paradise is a better beach but Cayacoa is a better hotel and closer to other activities.

If you just want to stay on resort and hang out at the beach then Grand Paradise might be better for you.

Have an awesome vacation!

Have to agree with you Terry.

The beach at Grand Paradise is stunning. We're beach people as well so knocked Cayacoa off our list for that reason and the fact it's so close to town.

Cheers,

Ditto on the above posts.

If you 're beach people don't even thing about Cayacoa. If you're looking for hotel / service then Cayacoa is the place for you.

Though call?!

Hi was wondering if you can walk for distance on beach at grand paradise. We are used to the beach at Punta cana and walking for great distances but realize that the beach at grand Paradise is not quite like that, but just how short is it, and it looks like its all grass? I am looking to sit on the sand. can you provide anny info. Also how far is it from the ocean view rooms to the beach and do you really have a view of the ocean from those rooms? any help would be greatly appreciated

You may want to check out gbp el portillo Leslie if you like miles of beach. Happy travels, Ben

Cayocoa is an amazing resort. All the amenties. Close to the town of samana overlookin it actually. The beach is small but nice. There are so many beaches nearby like playa ricon amazing untouched secluded with a stream u can swim in rite there. El limon waterfall. Cayo lavendeto island u can see from the resort with its white sand beach the national park and so much more all excessible and close to cayacoa. And the views from the pool and rooms are stunning. I hope thos helps u. Any more info just ask. Gutshot.

The beach at GPS and the surrounding area is simply stunning. Check out these photos that I took about three weeks ago there.
