Just back from Coyaba beach resort

Hello,

Quick update - best Caribbean holiday thus far!

Grand Anse beach is simply beautiful and the resort is located centrally on the beach. Great resort, accommodation was fine and food was good.

We were made very welcome and felt extremely safe. We explored on own ( try the local buses) as well as an island tour organised by a local company.

It was lovely, now trying to get accustomed to the UK weather!!!

Glad to hear you had a great time!

After a week in Grenada the sub-zero weather of Toronto was quite a shock to our systems.

Wonderful to read you enjoyed Grenada. Now blast the heat at home to 75 degrees and pretend you are still on holiday. ;-)

Great idea! What a gem of an island, cannot think of enough superlatives to describe. Will have to go back as didn't fit in trip to the Grenadines and Carriocou.

Kind regards

Hello,

Coyoba was simply lovely! it has a great location in the middle of Grande Anse.

There were not many children when we were there, feb 7th -21st, especially the first week but the second week a few more families arrived possibly owing to half term break.

Theres is no 'kids club' but the location of the resort make it easy to either spend time on the beach or walk into town.

If you do go, try the local buses to gets around, its fantastic and inexpensive way to travel.

Please do get it touch if i can help further.

Can you take the local bus to the Grand Etang for hiking?

Hello,

I'm not sure. We visited Grand Etang, but not to hike.

Can anyone advise?

Best wishes

Hi going to Coyaba beach resort end of September, you mention local buses to travel around, are they fairly regular and what do they charge. Any information would be great. Thanks

Busses are very frequent from Grande Anse to St Georges, every 5 minutes or so. Very cheap. From the bus station in St Georges you can get busses around the island. They go from the bus station when full. No real timetable.

We visited most of the island by bus, including Grande Etang, Grenville, La Sagesse, Gouave... We also hired a car for a few days to get to the more difficult places.

As long as you like loud music and don't mind being squashed in, you will enjoy travelling by bus.
