last minute questions

I'm pakking now for our Grenada vacation. There are a few questions coming up now:

Are there shops where we can buy a bal, or soms toys for the beach for our son?

Are there excursion offices on the street where we can book tours and ask questions about tours?

(We didn't book anything online, because I like to talk to someone about it)

how much is the departure tax on the airport?

When I'm pakking I always get stressed about these kind of things.

Departure tax is 40ec but most airlines pay the government directly, its part of your ticket cost. Certainly is using BA or Virgin.

You can probably buy a beach ball but its going to be easier to buy one before you go. They arent big on that but your kids will probably find far more interesting things, like hermit crabs.

You can buy excursions everywhere, hotels, taxi drivers, a few specialist co's in town and on the beach, dive companies, beach vendors...

Dont be stressed, grenada is a very laid back place...

Pack your beach toys, it will be expensive to buy them on island.

Once you get to Grenada, pick up a copy of the tourist book either at the airport or at your hotel. You can see the different tour companies. You can also ask for recommendation from the hotel staff.

Enjoy your visit!!

Thank you! I will pack the beach toys.

We're flying with British airways, but booked with cheaptickets.nl. So I don't have to save dollars for the tax?

Good to know!
