Sounds like Jamaica is not going to skirt this one. Bright Blessings for all living there and visiting.
Frodo, the projected path shows Jamaica smack in the center of the storm path.
The Ministry of National Security is advising that the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) will be closed at 7pm and Sangsters International Airport (MBJ) will be closed at 10pm today.
@cebakes.....yes, I understand.

Just going to bump this. Want to make sure anybody that was supposed to fly tomorrow is aware.
@Rachel I responded on another thread, but they are supposed to open Thursday morning, but check, check and double check before you leave your house that everything is ok!
Agree with BSB. Things are supposed to start getting back to normal Thurday, but with flights being cancelled for tomorrow, who know what that might mean.
OK whew! Even if my Thursday flight is delayed, as long as I get there I am OK with that. Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios said they plan to be open & waiting for us so here's hoping! They don't sound overly concerned!
I am headed to Sandals Grande Riviera next week, so I sure hope you're right! :)
