Floyds Pelican Bar

I'm sitting here with a broken foot ( praying it heals) , so being on here helps keep the foot propped up. I'm not a good patient. Anyway, we are booked for Negril June 29 th. This is our fourth trip to Jamaica , first to Negril. just wondered if anyone here as been to Floyds Pelican bar . any thoughts would be appreciated.

I've been several times over the past 10 years. It's a bar made of bamboo and thatch over a sandbar about a mile off the south coast of Jamaica. You can only get there by boat. There is a small bar area, some very basic sundeck area, and lots of sandbar to wade around in at waist-height.

Hope your foot heals quickly. We were at Floyd's on June 2 with 15 people after first stopping at YS Falls. We used Reggae Tours and they were great as usual. Kirk from Reggae Tours called ahead and ordered us lunch. We had great time and I highly recommend it.
