Need All Inclusive Wedding Resort Recommendations!

Looking for some help planning a destination wedding (for my brother-in-law and his fiancé). They would like to focus on Jamaica, and are looking for the following at an all-inclusive, beachfront resort, most likely for January 2015.

* kid friendly but not overrun with kids (ie not the Holiday Inn) - will have a 3.5 year old, a 15- and a 13-month old with the group.

* preferably no dinner reservations, dress code is fine though. Would be ideal if wine options were good as there are many wine drinkers in the group.

* reasonable wedding packages with at least a first dance option and meal not in main restaurant (or at least in a private room)

* mid-price range, 4+ or 5 star

* preferably within an hour of the airport

* Suitable for a group of 25-40

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Have been looking at the Rose Hall Suites, although dinner reservations are required there. Would be flying out of Ottawa and Toronto, Ontario.

Thanks!!

"within an hour of the airport"

This requirement probably limits you to Montego Bay resorts.

"kid friendly but not overrun with kids (ie not the Holiday Inn)"

In Jamaica many all inclusive resorts are adults only or adult couples only. Those that are 'kid friendly' tend to be overrun with families with kids.

First idea, look at the following resorts (where everyone stays at the same hotel): Hilton Rose Hall and Half Moon. Both are in Rose Hall which is just east of the airport.

Second idea, look at the following resorts (where families with kids stay at one hotel and adults at another) as a package: Iberostar Grand, Iberostar Suites, and Iberostar Beach. These three resorts are located next to each other. Each resort is at a different price point and where the Beach takes families with kids and the Grand is adults only.

I would recommend Hummingbird Hall (www.hummingbirdhall.com)- all the way! I married there, they are wonderful!
