look for a restaurant or menu item that is "ital"...that's the Rasta version of halal...

don't worry about the weather....

ital won't cut it if you're looking for true halal... what you can get there is vegetarian cuisine tho...

i'm not sure if the have halal, it's likely but it's also likely that it's fairly limited/confined to a certain area and possibly a challenge to find... I will see if i can find out anything more....

Almost no halal food is available in Jamaica, but some supermarkets carry a small range of Kosher foods, a safe ‘standby’ for followers of Islam. There’s no halal butcher in Jamaica that I know of and only one Kosher butcher. Many Jews taking a vacation in Jamaica bring sealed pre-wrapped kosher meats with them, although some of the largest resorts may be able to cater for your dietary needs, if you are staying in one, and give advance notice.

Ital food is usually vegetarian to the best of my knowledge and would not contain any haram content, so it would be ok if you don’t mind switching to vegetarian during your stay.
