Do they check your bags if you have the log in it? My husband got stopped in Mexico because of that and they emptied his bag.

I have never once been stopped when going through customs on vacation - either going or returning.

I have, however, been stopped in Kingston because we were bringing in 6 rubbermaid tubs full of medical supplies, medicine, and and tools. We had a written authorization from the minister of health but they didn't care...and that is another story.
