Lobster Season

I'm not sure if I read it here or on another board, but, since Lobster season is starting about the time we are going to Rockhouse next April, what is the next most favorite food that we should seek out?

Ok! DiSciullo:

Lobster CLOSED season is from April 1st to June 30th each year. Most larger restaurants have a supply of frozen lobsters from the open season. IF you go to some small places they may have live lobsters that were taken that day. Not legal and not good for the lobster population. You should not do that. Also, in the closed season most lobsters, esp the female lobsters, will have mushy meat, regardless of how much they grill it.

But, ALL kinds of really fresh fish is available all over! Grilled, pan fried, etc. That can be the food of choice. Try going to COSMOS for really great fish!

Yes, Rack, I know that Lobster Season means NO harvesting. And I refuse to eat illegally! And, frozen lobster wouldn't be any different than what I can get here. So we will not be eating any lobster during our stay... Which is why I'm doing a survey to see what the next favorite dishes are! - other than jerk chicken of course...

(I'll get my lobster fix in Boston next month!!!)
