Couples Swept Away Question

We visited Couples Negril last winter and loved everything about it except... there was not anywhere to sit and have a drink, meet with friends or play a game of cards before and after dinner. At most Caribbean resorts we have been to there is usually a lobby bar or such where couples gather before/after dinner with tables and suitable lighting. We are now thinking of going to Couples Swept Away - will we find any such place there?

Patios bar, aura lounge, maybe the martini bar.

We just got from CSA earlier this month. Many people meet up at the Martini Bar, but in truth, it is very small (only 8 or 9 bar stools). There are tables set up in the area between the bar and Lemongrass, so you could conceivably play cards there after you get your drinks. We personally like the Patois bar - much larger and more room to spread out. Aura Lounge is great for after dinner - lots of comfy couches to relax and talk with friends.

Agree with what everyone said. I will also add that CSA has 2 bars that are on the Beach. They close in the evenings, but a lot of people hang out at them during the day. We love the Beach bars and they are something CN doesn't have. Also, I'm not sure what time the Sports Bar acoss the street closes, but there is a pool table over there, and I think there would be room there to play cards.

FYI, the area around the Martini bar can get a little smoky. We liked the Patois bar for before-dinner drinks, but if you're eating at Lemongrass or the Palms, the Martini bar is more convenient. There's also a little bar area with a few tables in the Palms, at the front near the pool.
