take along and wear your wedding rings/diamonds when you travel to Jamaica? Just curious on what people do.
Thanks in advance!
I don't have any wedding rings or diamonds. If I did I would wear a simple band for traveling (not just to Jamaica, anywhere). I don't think it's good form to wear flashy or expensive items (watches, rings, etc.) when visiting places where local people are poor or disadvantaged. suze
I wear mine in Jamaica, I don't ever take them off. But then they're not 3 carats with lots of side diamonds. Then I might be tempted to leave them at home.
My wife always wore hers before...but she had a little one when we got enagaged (in Negril, actually) and she has a new one now.
Although, I am not sure she would listen to my advice to keep it in the safe at home...
I always wear my "bling"
My wife leaves the real bling at home. $1.98 ring is just fine when we travel.
I meant wedding rings only. I know that wearing other flashy jewelry is discussed on here alot.... but I'm talking wedding rings. Even if it is a bigger diamond and you never take it off. Do you still wear in Jamaica?
I wear my wedding and engagement rings. Never take them off no matter where I am.
You'd have to define "bigger". 1 carat? 2 carats?
We wear them, but they are simple bands. No stones.
Size is irrelevant in my curiosity...if you have a plateau on what size diamond you would wear, feel free to share, but I'm just curious what people do about their own wedding rings in Jamaica.
