Yes it is possible. Exit Couples Negril and turn right on the road in front of the hotel. Walk west and then south, a total of about 3/4 mile, until you come to Rays Watersports where you turn right to the beach. From there you can continue to walk down the beach to Couples Swept away or, if you wish, all the way to downtown Negril.
A better option is to ask at the front desk of Couples Negril when there is a shuttle bus to Couples Swept away. You can also take a route taxi, from the road, to Couples Swept away or to downtown Negril for $J100 per person (one way).
Yes it is possible, but it would take some work. You would have to start on the street and walk for a short distance on the road as described above. I have walked that road, and I do not recommend it. Pay the $5 cab fee. If staying at CN, sign up for Romance Rewards before your trip and do Trading Places one day of your trip to CSA . That way you have a home base at CSA to leave your belongings, and you can walk along the Long bay section of the beach. Trading Places occurs from 10am until 4pm and they will provide you with free transportation to and from CN. You will also have access to all of CSA lunch options, their bars and water sports.Edited: 20 February 2012, 19:14
We are going to CN in April. First time at a Couples Resort. If we want to go to CSA for a day is all we have to do is sign up for Romance Rewards? I went on their website and it talked about pre-checking in do we need to do that also? Or do we just ask for a day pass when we get there?
Thanks for any info
52 days and counting can't wait
Yes you do have to sign up for Romance Rewards to participate in the trading spaces program.
You don't have to pre-check in as this is your first time, but you can. It is mostly for repeaters, pre-checkin is when you let them know what return gift you would like, tee-shirt, candles, etc.
I hope that you love CN as much as we do. We will be making our 9th trip this year. It is wonderful.
