Xtabi

Hello,

We have been to Negril many times and have stayed at the Blue Castle.

Considering a stay at Xtabi. We wandered around the property but I cant recall what cottages we liked. Is there a map of the property any where? We want to stay ocean side- two cottages (2ppl in one-3 the other) with water access if possible from at least one..

Do the ones w/out the kitchenette have a fridge?

Any info on them would be great!

I don't believe that any of the ocean front cottages have a kitchenette but you can request a fridge.

#1 and #4 both have kitchenettes and are the most popular seaside cottages. They have a loft bedroom with a bathroom upstairs as well as down. Large seafront terraces with sea access. They have a king bed but are roomy enough to have a cot brought into the living area.

Look at Negrilonestop. There are photos and descriptions of each cottage.

Good call GM! Friends stayed in cottage #1 and it was sweet. Relatively private, since it's on the side of the property, with a BIG wraparound deck with superb sea and sunset views. There are 2 other cottages nearby behind and to the side of it. Big thumbs-up.

Ditto negrilonestop. Great site to get info and nice & knowledgeable folks ot book with. Not sure where you can find a map showing the layout of the cottages. Cottage #1 is on the extreme northern side of the property - next to the border with Kaiser's (which looks fancy & nice, but seems never to have many guests).

This video does a nice walk-around, with cottage #1 and the nearby ones labeled. And I believe immediately after showing cottage #1, the next view labeled "Sea side cottages" shows cottage #1 & it's near-private sea access on the top/left... followed by a pan to the other adjacent cottages.

Cottage #5, sleeps 2, has a fridge, and is next door to #4 which is a two story with kitchenette and as genuine_m said could probably have an extra bed put in the downstairs LR. They share a private walkway carved into the cliffs down to a small upper platform and a lower one with ladder.

Thanks for the info! I am going to check out the video. We should have made one when we walked through last time.. or at least written down the ones we liked!

Room No. 4 is the most photographed hotel room in the history of Negril.
